Position Summary:
Incumbent provides technical support in the daily operations of the Systems Operations team include integration and maintenance of infrastructure services
Required Qualifications:
IS: Minimum 5 years of directly related experience to Enterprise Computing as a mid to senior level staff
Ability to work under minimal supervision on projects including configurations, installation and maintenance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
IS: Expert working knowledge of the Windows server operating system (Windows 2003 through Server 2012)
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
IS: Ability to generate roadmaps to include SDLC
IS: Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP and WINS
IS: Experience with enterprise file sharing services such as DFS, which includes design, management and automation of tasks
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
IS: Demonstrated experience with reporting services for storage capacity, user data and growth
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
IS: NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing Storage Area Networks (e.g. EMC, HP, IBM)
IS: VMware Certified Professional 5 or higher
Experience managing Distributed File Services (DFS), VMware services, Active Directory, CommVaultSimpana backups, Orion monitoring, Exchange 2010, Lync 2013, DNS, DHCP and basic SQL/Oracle administration
IS: Experience with Allscripts and/or EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
IS: NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer (NCIE)
Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
IS: Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
