Job Description
The hospital based float RN is an experienced clinician who functions at the Competent or higher stage of our model of clinical expertise, supporting various units to achieve quality patient outcomes. The hospital based float RN provides direct patient care effectively and efficiently to patient populations with varied and complex needs and to different units/areas as assigned. The hospital based float RN supports unit leadership and has responsibility to participate in unit and hospital initiatives, and possibly contribute to service line or hospital wide activities.

SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS
BSN
Texas RN license or within 90 days of hire
2 years of acute care hospital experience
BLS and ACLS through AHA
Emergency Dept experience preferred
Med/Surg experience preferred

IDEAL CANDIDATE
Someone with Emergency or Med/Surg experience, BSN, TX RN license active. Also, willing to work up to full time hours in our Emergency Dept from 10 to 12 weeks
