MISSION
- Developing high-level relationships with senior directors, CSR teams worldwide to use and promote the EcoVadis platform in their own internal organisation.
- Generating premium leads, negotiating and following up right until payment of higher level subscription of the platform.
- Participate in sales Development and generate leads for both EcoVadis corporate and Enterprise accounts: which are multinational organisations spanning multiple countries and industries.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing and delivering results from a strong sales pipeline through lead generation, organisational interests and tier one supplier needs.
- Prospect new and existing customers within the relevant business development groups Initiate sales calls to proactively maintain and develop allocated portfolio of prospects. Maximise all sales opportunities and achieve individual targets.
- Qualify inbound leads effectively and make quantified solution recommendations by matching business requirements to EcoVadis solutions.
- Promoting adoption and use of the EcoVadis platform and driving sales of the premium and corporate package.
- Managing projects on EcoVadis methodology and internal processes.
- Ensure that suppliers’ expectations of EcoVadis are positive, ensuring supplier participation and boosting response rates of campaigns.
- Interact and participate with engagement and support team on daily business tasks as necessary and hit team objectives.
- Regularly host webinars on platform updates and enhancements to a broad range of industry sectors in North and South America, Europe, Africa and Asia.
- Participating in coordination of tasks and projects to improve supplier communication, awareness, and internal supplier engagement processes.
- Additional responsibilities related to the function may be required.
Qualifications
- Degree in a management or business related discipline.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is a must (Portuguese will be a plus).
Understanding of business and organizational structure, B2B marketing and proven sales or account management experience/record.
- Business development experience and excellent customer contact.
- From 2 to 5 years experience of telephone sales, resulting in successful closure of sale, preferably gained in a B2B context.
- Knowledge and interest in ethical trade and social auditing; some knowledge of supply chain issues.
- Autonomous and self-driven.
- International Exposure or comfortable working in an international company.
- Willing to work in a start-up environment (it may be required to turn the hand to other tasks depending on the company needs).
- Good knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables a must), CRM tools.
