We are looking for a Senior Developer - C++, CUDA, QT, Multi threading for one of our direct clients which is a global Systems Integrator and Business Transformation company; have competency centers in telecom and wireless, life sciences, analytics and data infrastructure, embedded systems domains, product engineering and Microsoft and Java platforms.

Job Location:Foster City, CA
Rate: $50 / Hr.
Contract Duration:6 Months+

Job SummaryThe engineer will be responsible for designing and developing instrument control software for the client's DNA sequencing instruments.

Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities include gathering requirements, developing, and unit testing software for controlling the instrument's high-speed CCD camera imaging system.
• Must provide design documentation and present in design review meetings.

Experience Required

• Must have 5+ years experience in developing multi-threaded commercial software in c++ under Linux platform
• Prefer experience with Qt library.
• Plusses include experience in CUDA development and signal/imaging processing.
• Extensive experience in software architecture designs.
• Excellent understanding of iterative software development process and best practices.
