We are looking for a Windows Admin with experience with IIS 7.x, SSH, SSL/TLS, TCP/UDP to work for our Client is a broadband telecommunications company and the largest U.S. wireless communications service provider. This is a 12 Months Contract based out Irving, TX.

Description:

• Provide Production Support for Internal Windows Applications of the Client.
• Deploy application code/packages in Production and Non-Production environments and join Task Plan review calls and follow Change Management Process and Procedures.
• Work with Application Development, Middleware, Command Center, VDSI, System Administrators and other teams to coordinate for all activities and work to debug issues as needed.
• As part of job requirement, resource may be working after normal business hours and some weekends as scheduled.
• Need to work closely with all teams, respond to emails and be able to join calls and attend CMDs (Outage Bridge) as needed.
• Provide resolution to issues and mitigate problems and be able to work proactively. Perform installation of code releases and patches and write scripts or programs for IT applications
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of databases and systems

Job Skills:

• Should have experience with Windows 2008/2012 server System Administration concepts/familiarity.
• Experience with Basic Unix/Linux environment familiarity (shells, command line utilities, etc.) 
• Experience with Communication protocols and utilities (SSH, SSL/TLS, TCP/UDP, etc.)
• Experience with Windows 2008/2012 server System Administration concepts/familiarity.
• Experience with Microsoft middleware experience (IIS 7.x, .NET, etc.)
• Strong experience with Communication protocols and utilities (SSH, SSL/TLS, TCP/UDP, etc.)
• Experience with Windows system based diagnostics/troubleshooting, able to work with System
• Administrator teams to identify/fix OS/Network/GPO, hardware/software issues.
  Working Experience with Basic Unix/Linux environment familiarity (shells, command line utilities, etc.)

Desired Skills:

· Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop experience

· SQL Server 2008 and above familiarity

· PowerShell scripting
