Job Description

As a Traffic Manager at Ethos, you’ll bring your exceptional organisational skills and thorough understanding of agency processes to maximise the efficiency of our studios. In this essential role, you’ll work across our talented teams providing resource planning and gate-keeping for a wide range of creative and technical projects. You’ll have the opportunity to learn and grow within a creative and digitally advanced team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with account managers (Client engagement teams) to forecast resourcing requirements, monitor time expenditures and help manage and maintain agency financial processes.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimise talent utilisation and meet all short and long-term resourcing requirements.
  • Work with team leads to ensure we have access to a strong pool of trusted contractors.
  • Collect the right brief from the requirement managers for every need and reviewing/ validating the brief.
  • Traffic the work flow and close the loop with the necessary stakeholders to staff a role.
  • Assist employees with procedures relating to traffic and studio production and timely quality control checks.
  • Organize briefing sessions and creative reviews with the Creative lead .
  • Work with creative directors and ensure all reviews are done in time and no review checkpoint is missed and routes jobs for internal approvals
  • Traffic to maintain a detailed people and project movement tracker to provide live updates to creative directors , capacity and Business Leads
  • Liaising between creative and technology team leaders and account managers.
  • Hold WIP meetings and managing the daily schedule within the creative team. Book all creative meetings, Presentations Pre-Prods etc.
  • Identify freelance/vendor needs within projects and working with account  managers to source and onboard right freelancers / venders.
  • Oversee creative jobs and making sure they are on track and on time, constantly tracking scope and timings and escalating issues to Creative leads if necessary.
  • Responsible for job allocation and attendance of the Creative Team.
  • To assess and help creative leads for all arrangement of jobs priority.
  • Provides visibility on allocations and partners with capacity manager.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of traffic management or project management experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced agency or other professional services business, preferably in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and best practices
  • Flexible and organized.
  • Good working knowledge of creative and production functions so that accurate timelines can be set for jobs.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of project management/delivery practices and principles – ideally in an ‘Agile’ environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic, solution-focused attitude, with the determination to find the best outcome for all projects.
