This is a collaborative space where our customers engage in creative sessions to discuss insights about Hiring Success and SmartRecruiters’ products. Design Lab members are able to join conversations and shape innovative solutions that have already benefited thousands of customers.

Recently, we have partnered with UserTesting, the #1 ranked CX platform that helps product teams gather customer feedback via seamless recruiting, scheduling, and analysis tools. This partnership strengthens our infrastructure and enhances how we collaborate.

How does it work?

  • Sign up by clicking on the button below. You will be able to create your profile in UserTesting and start receiving occasional invitations to join sessions that are relevant to your interests.
  • Whenever you receive a session invitation, there will be a link to schedule it at a date and time that works for you, alongside clear instructions on how to join the calls.
  • The sessions can be informal conversations, structured exercises, workshops, usability tests, and more. They usually focus on specific problems or opportunity areas, aiming to understand your individual and business challenges.
  • You have full control over your participation in the lab. Update preferences, interests, and opt-out from the community whenever you want. We also support GDPR requirements. Your data is secure and only accessible by the SmartRecruiters product team.

  • What is UserTesting? It’s a human insight platform that provides a first-person understanding of how customers interact with product experiences. It’s a top-rated one-stop shop for centralized user research operations that helps product teams raise rapid customer feedback on several media, including websites, mobile apps, prototypes, and real-world experiences.
  • How do I sign up? Sign up for the panel using this link. From there you’ll create an account and fill out your profile so you can receive relevant session invites.
  • How does UserTesting work? Once you have signed up and completed your profile, Usertesting will notify you via email when you qualify for a user session (or “test”). Sessions will either be unmoderated or moderated. In an unmoderated session, you’ll complete tasks and answer questions without a researcher present. These will record your interactions and feedback as you think aloud and can be completed at any time. Moderated tests are interviews with a researcher. If you’re invited to a moderated test, you’ll select a date and time for your session and then speak with a researcher on the platform at the scheduled time.
  • How long will sessions take? Most unmoderated tests should take around 10-15 minutes to complete. Moderated tests will last either 30 or 60 minutes, depending on the length of the scheduled interview.
  • Will I be compensated? No, we don’t pay incentives to members of the Design Lab.
  • How can I update my profile? You can update your profile and answer any fields that may have been added. Simply log into your UserTesting participant dashboard, go to the My Profile tab, and click Edit.
  • Can I remove myself from the panel? You can remove yourself from the panel at any time. Just login to UserTesting and go to your settings, then scroll to Delete Account at the bottom.
