Job Description

  • Monitors all pending Customs entries to ensure timeliness

  • Follow up with customer and Expeditors destination offices via telephone on all urgent inquiries to ensure expedited responses are received

  • Respond to all inquiries from Expeditors destination offices regarding specific entry questions using customer computer system

  • Ensure proper documentation is included in all entry packets submitted to customer for invoice payment

  • Monitor CUSDEC transmissions and ensure all errors are corrected by Expeditors Destination offices in a timely manner

  • Retrieval of all ACH preliminary and final statements

  • Monitor all post entry progress of Expeditors destination offices

  • Completion of weekly summary report

  • Understanding of all account requirements as explained in the customer SOP

  • Work with the Lead Agent to ensure account meets its business and productivity goals

  • Take up additional assignments as required to meet with the company needs

Qualifications

  • Customs Brokerage Experience (licensed broker preferred, but not required)
  • Service-minded and shows intuitive 
  • Good communication skills
  • Well-versed in MS Office (i.e. Excel)
