Job Description


Working closely and cross-functionally in the Edmonton Airports Core Digital Team, the Manager, Digital, plays a pivotal role focused on delivering insight, understanding and outcomes within the projects of the Digital Program.  This position requires the ability to span multiple projects and requires a strong technical background and strong business knowledge.  The Manager, Digital should be driven to enable and support the digital transformation at Edmonton Airports. 


  • Work with project managers and business leads to discuss the progress of each project (ex. schedule changes, project scope adjustments, recommended resources)
  • Monitor the progress of the project to ensure that it is working within the confines of set deadlines and budget limitations and generate progress reports to PMO
  • Monitor and evaluate each step of a project to ensure that it is meeting defined project deliverables and outcomes
  • Assist in setting a project budget and to be involved in assembling a project’s team and setting task schedules
  • Create and maintain reports addressing all aspects of project development and completion
  • Identify areas of project development need to be re-addressed in order to maintain efficiency and cost control
  • QA and advise on analytics data collection tagging in internal development environments as needed - work closely and Interface with the Data Architect to ensure alignment
  • Present ideas to project managers and assume the responsibility of implementing and managing changes in the project management cycle



  • Post-secondary education in Computing Science or related discipline
  • 7+ years of IT / Digital experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in the airport industry
  • Strong project control, analytical, problem-solving, organizational and written/oral communication skills
  • Detail-oriented team leader who can consistently meet deadlines and possess the ability to work independently as needed
  • Able to multi-task and demonstrate the ability to work with a diverse work group of vendors, executive managers, subcontractors, consultants and other professionals
  • Forecast project goals and completion
  • Independent and creative problem solving abilities that consider impact to a multitude of stakeholders
