ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Based on a solid understanding of the operational process, to analyze and develop operational plans and to identify business requirements to support continuous improvement. The analyses are to a large extent based on analysis of large, complex data sets consisting of millions of data points
  • Identifying and implementing efficiencies and process improvements which may pertain to: allocation of infrastructure, staffing, technology/automation, passenger flow and regulatory changes, by working with other process owners and stakeholders
  • Initiating new process evaluation and providing subject matter expertise on new processes and process changes required by facility or passenger routing changes
  • Effectively communicating to all stakeholders to ensure processes are understood and addressing issues as required
  • Utilizing business intelligence tools and other data sources to support operational decision making and program development
  • Develop requirement specifications and participate in procurement processes to acquire new technology

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Master of Science in Engineering, Economics, Business. Administration or similar
  • Preferably 3 to 5 years’ experience as a consultant or analyst in a large organization
  • Experience with project management is a plus, you may even have a certification of your skills, i.e. PRINCE2, PMP or similar.
  • Well-developed communication skills (both written and verbal) sufficient to explain complex issues in a succinct and plain manner and to adapt writing style in a manner that is suitable and appropriate for people of varied levels of sophistication/comprehension
  • Driven by a desire to make a difference for the business – and understanding that change takes time
  • Skilled at quantitative analysis of large data sets
  • Proven ability to work and make decisions in a complex, technical environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to diplomatically lead meetings and workshops with stakeholders that may have differing opinions
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills to assess and review operational and process flows, demand, constraints and partner requirements
  • You love Excel and Excel loves you – Excel is the tool you will work with most of the time and you must thrive in this environment
  • Solid knowledge of Access is a plus

SALARY:                   $36.39 - $40.36 per hour
