Job Description

Reporting to the CFO & Vice President, Finance, you are a member of the Finance management team and are focused on providing leadership and direction to the Supply Chain team. You will collaborate with other Strategic Business Units (SBU’s) to develop and manage the requirements of Material management including minimizing total materials cost, maximizing materials effectiveness and establishing an inventory flow that is responsive to the needs of the business now and in the future 
You will be responsible for leading and managing the related materials management processes to ensure an integrated sourcing system that meets customer requirements, minimizes total materials cost, maximizes materials effectiveness and establishes an inventory flow that is responsive to the needs of the business now and in the future.  This role has strong cross functional linkages with all other SBUs.
•    Support the CFO & Vice President, Finance to engage in efficient Supply Chain Service, Plans and Directions
•    Develop, implement and review the business plans within the Supply Chain services strategies
•    Create and maintain a strong team that demonstrates a high performance, high discipline, safe, accountable, focused, innovative and achievement-oriented manner of working
•    Conduct the assessment of the Supply chain team based on performance metrics
•    Lead Safety culture with the incorporation of quality measures
•    Develop and manager material planning and executing strategies that can deliver expected quality of   competitive material flow 
•    Ensure the development and implementation of effective materials strategy has been leveraged
•    Ensure that the forecast of Materials Management is communicated well within the team
•    Develop positive relationships with suppliers, management, and stakeholders to facilitate the productivity
•    Utilize appropriate change management techniques, considering people, process and technology to implement process improvements/changes
•    Identify the necessary budget required, so the employees can carry out their day to day operations efficiently.
•    Recognize team based on contribution and performance. Maintain a positive work environment that supports self-direction and provides structure to optimize team experience, skills, knowledge and capability
•    Provide direction and/or guidance to third party developments (Tenant developments)


•    Degree or diploma in Business or Commerce, equivalencies will be considered. 
•    5 years leading teams, 5-10 years of Supply Chain experience on varied industries
•    Supply Chain Education and Training (Having a SCMP designation an asset)
•    Procurement policies and procedures in an airport environment is an asset
•    Demonstrated Risk Assessment Management
•    Must have knowledge of supply chain services policies and standards as well as knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, data research and Microsoft Dynamics is preferred
•    Excellent leadership, communication, conflict management and procurement skills
•    Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making
•    Process-oriented, strong business acumen, attention to detail, ability to drive consensus in decision making
•    Ability to draft, review and execute annual reconciliation of the inventory 
•    Develop and recommend strategic objectives for the materials team
•    Ability to develop and translate strategies into plans of action 
•    Develop and maintain successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders
•    Knowledge in air service industry, construction or production industry
•    Setting quantifiable goals, data collection and analysis, and measuring results
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
•    Flexible and adaptable to demanding and fast-paced work environment
•    Ability to secure and maintain appropriate airport security clearance and acceptable criminal record check is required
