The Director, Supply Chain Management is a member of the Finance Management Team and is accountable for the overall success of the organization by effectively ensuring all aspects of contracts, procurement, and materials management support the financial and operational objectives of the organization. The Director participates in the development of strategic and tactical plans for the business unit and implements initiatives within the contracts and supply chain functions to help achieve those objectives. This role has strong cross functional linkages with all other SBUs, providing support in cost effective solutions that ensure adequate on-time resources.
POSITION SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Determine the appropriate framework and allocation of resources for the optimal configuration necessary for the Supply Chain Management Division.
Develop and execute a robust supply chain strategy, setting direction across the organization on the most cost effective and efficient solutions.
Create and manage a strong team of professionals and provide appropriate context and prescribed limits for the development of employees.
Work collaboratively with demand planning, supply chain, and inventory and materials management, to build a medium to long term supply chain plan that is aligned with Operations.
Provide oversight and support to the materials management function, ensuring inventory management, purchasing, and warehousing planning processes support the overall Supply Chain strategy and plan.
Provide oversight to the Contracts and Procurement function, ensuring that all activities throughout the procure to process (from receipt of Purchase Requisition to payment of invoice) are managed effectively and proactively.
Continuously drive improvement in capability through the development of people and tools and constant monitoring of developments in the internal and external environment.
Senior leadership expertise in Supply Chain Management, including materials and inventory management, and contracts and procurement
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain Management
5+ years of leadership experience
Strong experience using ERP systems for supply chain planning
Experience with Inventory planning and vendor management
Demonstrated ability to plan and execute business deliverables
Strong communication skills verbal and written; ability to produce timely and high-quality documentation
Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate airport security clearance and acceptable criminal record check

SALARY: Commensurate with experience
