Job Description

  • Department: IT Services
  • Salary: up to £32,000 per annum D.O.E + Comprehensive benefits package
  • Location: Hybrid (Aligned to our Hull office, expectation for 3 days a week in the office)

About the Team

The support team is an integral part of the IT Services department, responsible for end user support, device configuration and ensuring that users have access to the systems and resources they need to carry out their role. It is a multi-disciplined team that works closely with the other teams in the IT Services department as well as all users across the wider business.

About the Role

This is a hands on, varied role offering the successful candidate the opportunity to work with all stakeholders across the business, very much in a value-add capacity. As well as providing general support, the role will provide a 2nd line escalation point for Microsoft 365 related incidents and requests that cannot be resolved by 1st line personnel. It will also take a lead in developing our usage and capabilities with Autopilot and InTune.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Responsible for the continued development and improvement of our system imaging and management using Autopilot and InTune
  • Responsible for Microsoft 365 related support incidents and requests escalated from the rest of the team.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software related tickets both in person and remotely
  • Accountable for proactively managing and prioritising ticket queue and ensuring that all incidents and requests are accurately logged and updated in accordance with our SLA’s and procedures within our ITSM system.
  • Contribute effectively to the establishment and maintenance of the IT departmental knowledge, documenting clear instructions and known fixes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an IT Support or Service Desk role.
  • A good technical knowledge of modern computer operating systems.
  • Experience in administering a Microsoft 365 tenant including Entra, Exchange, SharePoint and Teams Admin Centres.
  • Experience in deploying and managing end user devices using Windows AutoPilot and Microsoft Intune.
  • Any relevant Microsoft 365 Certifications are desirable, especially MS-900, MD-100/101
