Job Description

As our first ever North American Marketing Manager you will be charged with making sure that our US and Canadian prospects know where to find us. We have an outstanding reputation in Europe but we need you to launch us on this side of the pond. Your experience with B2B digital multi-channel marketing strategy is what we are hungry for. But wait! There’s more! You get to execute on that strategy too – we’re a small growing company so everyone gets to have ideas and then go make them happen. We also need someone who works well with a team – so you’ll get to use your awesome leadership talent here too.


How you’ll spend your days:

• Building out our internal marketing competency and managing relationships with external marketing partners

• Driving our online marketing channel focusing on customer acquisition, conversion and retention – keyword “results!”

• Developing existing SEM, SEO, affiliate, email, social and retargeting channels as well as expanding into new territory 

• Using Google Analytics and other business tracking tools to make strategic and tactical recommendations that will help us improve our margins – results again

• Collaborating with your account managers to understand sales priorities and align your programs to support those priorities

• Measuring the results of each marketing initiative so we know what to do more of and what to stop – “results”

• Ensuring flawless execution of trade shows and other public facing events

• Providing masterfully authored content for digital and offline publications – providing editorial license to white papers and other technical material

• Wearing many hats and juggling multiple priorities – after all we are a small company!

Qualifications

A bit about you:

• BS/BA in Business, Marketing Communications or a related discipline

• 5+ years of professional experience with an emphasis on digital marketing in a B2B technology or management consulting organization

• A demonstrated track record for developing and executing successful online marketing strategies – and you know this because you measure the results

• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to optimize marketing efforts – in depth knowledge of Google Analytics is critical of course

• Strong capabilities with SEM/ SEO, affiliate marketing, email programs, social media, display advertising and retargeting

• Fiscally responsible – you spend your budget wisely and understand the downstream effect of the work that you do

• Experience developing dynamic websites, email marketing products and social media content

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; able to author engaging, inspirational and action-oriented content for our email programs and digital efforts

• Driven and self-directed – you know how to solve problems and ask questions when you don’t have the answer
