Job Description

You have deep and broad knowledge of the construction industry. You have a nose for detail and an eye for organization. Your experience navigating the maze of city and county government requirements and aligning your service offerings to meet strict regulation is what we need to build our public sector group and become the most sought after wet utility company in the Front Range. Are you in?

  • Uncovering the detailed requirements within each entity that are required in order to bid on business
  • Coordinating the collection of documentation, permits, licensing, certifications and facilitating the bid process
  • Building strong relationships with your key contacts – General Contractors, public works managers, facilities managers and city/county personnel
  • Working with key personnel to ensure that we are on the preferred vendor list for all appropriate projects
  • Writing RFPs and respond to RFIs for city, county and special government projects
  • Helping outline a solid methodology for tracking renewals and vendor requirement updates
  • Developing a library of re-usable material in order to make each proposal easier and more effective
  • Carefully tracking your activity so that no effort is left behind
  • Planning each day precisely to maximize every golden minute
  • Responding to customer and team member requests – sometimes before they ask!

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience reviewing and administering construction contracts for public sector projects
  • Exposure to curb and gutter, municipal water or wet utility projects
  • A curious mind that is eager to learn and can absorb new information quickly
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including articulate phone skills
  • Ability to manage time, activities and priorities skillfully and without direct supervisor
  • Wonderfully organized - in your mind and in your office
  • You know how to play nice with others - and support your team
