As a member of our web development team you have demonstrated your gift for being able to bring design to life. Your eye for an elegant customer experience is evident in your portfolio and you proudly contribute to your Github weekly. You live and breathe CSS and can’t imagine life without stylesheet libraries. We’re talking about senior level – almost an architect level of skill. You enjoy working with the engineering team to make it all come together and you love spending your working hours with wicked smart, engaged people who do amazing work.

How you MIGHT spend your day

•    Building and maintaining the UI for our large scale responsive web app

•    Translating designs and style guides provided by the UI/UX team into functional user interfaces – of course ensuring cross browser compatibility and performance

•    Communicating continually with the client and project teams – reporting progress on your team’s effort regularly

•    Contributing to continual improvement by suggesting enhancements to the user interface, architecture or recommending new technologies

•    Pitching in wherever you can to make our workplace amazing!

What you’ll bring to the table:

•    BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline

•    5 years of professional experience building software in a commercial environment

•    Expert knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 as the front end to an enterprise grade JavaScript application

•    You own a personal copy of Adobe Creative Suite and can’t imagine life before Sketch

•    Ninja level competency with SASS, SCSS or LESS

•    Super comfortable designing for responsive web apps using a mobile first approach

•    Some experience with automation tools like Gulp or Grunt

•    A talent for making sense out of obscurity – you immediately begin executing concepts in your mind the moment someone has an idea.

•    Thrive in an environment where “what if” is commonplace.

•    Have worked in an early-stage company so you know what it means to shift priorities and responsibilities.

•    Organized professional capable of managing your time, tasks and activities without daily guidance while coordinating a team through effective delegation.

•    Building strong and long-standing relationships is an important part of your being.

•    You love working with people and play well as a member of the team.
