Sous chef and Chef de Partie required for a NEW OPENING in the clitheroe / Blackburn area. Sous chef and chef de partie required to be apart of the opening team of this gastro pub serving classic dishes. Some STRAIGHT SHIFTS and all fresh food. Sous chef salary £20k.
The role:
As Sous chef you will support the head chef in the running of the kitchen. The sous chef will help with the new opening and to drive the business forward once it is open. This sous chef position will include all the normal sous chef duties.
As chef de partie you will run a section in the kitchen to the required standards. You will also oversee the commis chef and help to train. All normal chef de partie duties will also be assumed.
Experience:
We are looking for either a current Sous chef with experience as a sous chef or a junior sous chef looking to step up to Sous chef. For the chef de partie position we are looking for a demi chef de partie stepping up or a current chef de partie. Fresh food experience is essential.
