iAdvize is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to build a scalable and stable micro-services ecosystem. Two years ago, following a classic SaaS startup success, we started an amazing journey toward micro-services, slowly dropping our glorious monolith. We’ve already faced and overcome quite a few pitfalls along the way but this journey has only begun.

You will be joining a small team willing to build strong foundations for the iAdvize platform, allowing feature teams to deliver faster and more reliably.

You will be responsible for impactful topics, such as the efficiency of the development-to-production workflow, the standardisation of communications between micro-services, or automatic API composition. You will need to be passionate about automation, concerned both about the developer experience and the stability of the platform.

• Design and implement new features from scratch to production
  
• Document features and ensure other engineers know how to use them
• Identify technical or process bottlenecks to improve the platform and the team’s performance
• Troubleshoot issues in production

• 3+ years of programming experience in a micro-services ecosystem
• Experience with Docker
• Willing to learn and work with Scala
• Experience with CI/CD automated workflow
• Practical and able to produce high quality code, efficient, simple to read, and easy to scale
• Solid knowledge in system administration
• Strong interest in collaborating with people with humility and transparency

• Experience with Kafka
• Experience working in a fast-paced and growing environment
• Open-source contributions
