HIGH LEVEL JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for analyzing the business needs of clients and stakeholders to help identify business problems and propose solutions. 4 - 6 Years of experience. 

 Job Description: Provide application support to several Global Procurement software applications. Work with business users, internal IT and 3rd party vendors to address problems and issues. Become familiar with applications and business processes to assist in trouble shooting. Learn and utilize customization, configurations tools provided by the vendor

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Global Procurement has several baseline applications and is rolling out 2 additional ones this year. They have never had baseline support from BIS. They are looking for BIS to provide baseline support for their current and new applications. This would require 1 FTE allocated across several applications as follows: Application: FTE Comments Bravo 0.10 Global, multiple ERP interfaces Supplier Gateway 0.05 includes Diversity spend in Bravo Selectica 0.10 cross functional, global Ariba/Combinenet 0.05 stand alone, project focus Quickbase 0.10 new report capabilities, suppler interface Power Steering 0.10 cross functional, global CRM 0.50 new, global, complex, multiple releases planned Total 1.00 These applications are used globally by internal GP personnel as well as external suppliers. The GP support analyst will be the technical link between the vendors and the business (Global Procurement). Primary role will be to coordinate the resolution of application issues. Identify the type of issue and work with the appropriate teams to see that it is addressed. Work with the vendor on application issues and BIS domestic/international technology teams for connectivity/hardware issues.

 

Ability to resolve complex problems and be the focal point for technology issues related to GP applications. Work effectively with domestic/international PepsiCo and vendor teams to address issues in a timely manner. 5-6 years' experience

 

Interact and work effectively with GP partners and gain an understanding of the business process supported by the applications.

 

Adhere to and ensure that methodologies, technical standards and strategies are followed. This includes keeping hardware, application and system software current. Following the PLM methodology. As well as developing and coordinating disaster recovery planning.

 

Knowledgeable in C#, .net and SQL.

 

PREFERRED SKILLS (Nice to Haves)

- Familiarity with Commodity Risk Management

- Experience with Open Link, Bravo Solutions and/or Selectica application software

TOTAL WORK EXPERIENCE 5-6 years

 

CERTIFICATIONS - 4 year college degree, prefer IT or Business
