UI Designer - LOS ANGELES, CA 

The UI Designer will work closely with the Creative Director, the Project Manager and the rest of the team to:

- create innovative, beautiful and usable digital user experiences in Photoshop and Illustrator

- Design for responsive web and native mobile platforms 

This is a full-time position based at the headquarters in Los Angeles. Competitive salary and benefits. You’ll be working in a small team of five, reporting directly to the CD and the PM.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the CD in the creation of all design projects across various media and platforms (90% digital, 10% print)

Produce high-quality wireframes, prototypes and full-visual comps

Solve complex design problems, simply and beautifully

Design client projects from concept to execution

Ensure client satisfaction through high quality design work

Identify and vocalize opportunities to improve end product if applicable

Produce icons, graphics, and marketing materials quickly and as requested

Collaborate on projects with the CD and be able to provide/receive useful feedback on a daily basis

Participate in brainstorming and other idea-generating team sessions

Multi-task and work efficiently under pressure

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Web, New Media, UI/UX design or related field, or self-taught

2-3 years of experience working within the field

A passion for problem-solving, typography, digital design.

Excellent skills in Photoshop and Illustrator (InDesign knowledge is a bonus)

Basic understanding of HTML and CSS is a bonus

Design portfolio is a must

Skilled in production design for any and all digital applications

An eye for design and a passion for the creative process

Self-starter with excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills

Ability to complete multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines

Must be flexible with ability to grow and adapt
