Job Description

lastminute.com group is looking for a Senior .Net software engineer 

Responsibilities:

  • Researching, designing, writing and testing new enterprise applications (web applications, web api, services) using Agile software methodologies.

  • Contributing to the planning and analysis of high-level software strategies and solutions through functional and technical expertise.

  • Maintaining systems by monitoring, identifying and correcting software defects.

  • Constantly updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses.

  • Problem-solving and lateral thinking as part of a team, or individually, to meet the project needs.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Demonstrable experience (5+ years)  in ASP.NET MVC, Web Api, C#

  • Knowledge of testing methodologies (unit test / integration test) and related libraries (Nunit, Moq, XUnit).

  • Good knowledge of Javascript

  • Wide technology knowledge and sense of curiosity to explore new and better ways to solve problems.

  • Willingness to work in an Agile environment

  • Good knowledge of English

Desirable:

  • NHibernate and/or Entity Framework, TSql (Sql Server).

  • Knowledge of Azure Paas services

  • Experience in  AngularJs, TypeScript

  • Basic Front End skills (HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Responsive Design)

  • Expertise in designing enterprise applications (Design Patterns, CQRS, Code Decoupling, Domain Driven Design, S.O.L.I.D. principles).

  • "Hobby Project" of interest / open-source contributor.

  • MS Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
