Job Description

lm group is looking for a Business Intelligence Analytics Manager for its Business Intelligence department based in Chiasso.

He/she will lead and develop a team of data analysts that use advanced data modeling, predictive modeling and analytical techniques to interpret key findings from company data and leverage these insights into product initiatives that will support our business outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective management of analysts and tight collaboration with different company stakeholders

  • Support our Product department using advanced data modeling, ab-testing and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic product decisions highlighting optimization opportunities

  • Periodically communicate business results, impacts and insights of our product initiatives

  • Act as entry point for BI stakeholders for data/analysis needs managing them directly and/or addressing them to proper BI team

  • Implement analytical approaches and methodologies and assist into results interpretation

  • Recruit, train, develop and supervise data and business analyst employees

 

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Bachelor or master level degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Mathematical Engineering or Physics

  • At least 3 years of experience in similar management position

  • Experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes

  • Strong background in analytical visualizations, optimization dashboards and advanced quantitative skills that includes data mining, statistical modeling, predictive analytics and ab-testing techniques

  • Strong SQL skills and ability to perform effective and complex querying involving multiple tables and subqueries

  • Strong knowledge of Excel

  • Fluency in English

 

Desirable

  • Previous experience inside an e-commerce based company

  • Knowledge of R tool and Python language

  • Knowledge of Google Spreadsheet
