Lyst is looking for a bright and ambitious paralegal to join our Operations Team and support the Head of Legal and Legal Counsel on a variety of legal issues and contract matters. You will join a passionate team of accountants, lawyers, HR, operations, customer service and strategy professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate commercial contracts, and ensure all commercial contracts are executed and filed correctly.
• Manage Lyst’s IP portfolio and handle day to day IP issues and queries.
• Keep track of contract renewals and ensure their timely re-negotiation.
• Assist negotiation of commercial contracts based on standard form precedents.
• Research legal issues on a broad range of issues, particularly company, IP, data privacy, employment and general commercial law matters.
• Liaise with teams across the business on ad-hoc and project-based issues which require legal input.
• Prepare terms and conditions for promotions and competitions.
• Liaise with external counsel on a variety of legal issues.

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Previous experience of drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Previous experience of dealing with intellectual property issues.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment within a growing business.
• Previous experience of contract database management.
• Have a training contract secured and/or paralegal experience.
• Completed the LPC.
