Job Description

  • Receive and process quarterly and annual support table files including but not limited to ICD-9, CPT, tax rates, and zip codes
  • Monitor and Update regulatory rate modifications for Medicaid and Medicare
  • Perform basic system configuration maintenance
  • Perform testing on basic system configurations
  • Aid in generating and processing EDI files and coordinate exchange with plan partner representatives
  • Document business workflow diagrams using MS Visio
  • Document and/or update business process procedures within the Database Management in the form of written Policies and Procedures
  • Monitor and replicate claim inventory counts including DROH for the purpose of internal claims inventory reconciliation.
  • Configure Outbound Call Campaigns
  • Benefit and Pricing research for external audits and/or RFP purposes
  • Create and maintain new user accounts for all MARCH proprietary software applications
  • Eligibility and claim history research as required for member accumulator updates
  • Maintain departmental forms

Qualifications


  • High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent.
  • Some college experience in Computer Science, Healthcare Administration or Business Administration preferred. 
  • 1-2 years of EDI Transaction / Claim Processing / Benefit-pricing Configuration or Healthcare Software System Configuration experience.
  • Analytical and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Logical and efficient
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Intermediate ability in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Access, etc)
