VOICE Media Group, the company behind Phoenix New Times, LA Weekly. Denver Westword and several other media outlets, is an American privately held media company focused on the creation of original news and entertainment content across print, mobile and web properties for the culturally aware consumer.

The Phoenix New Times is seeking a Full Time Sales Assistant to support the management team.

Job duties include but are not limited to: 

• Prepare sales presentations and proposals
• Create campaign recap reports for clients
• Assist in the creative process as it applies to ad design for clients
• Draft copy for advertisements, event listings, contests, promotions & sms texts
• Process administrative items needed from sale to ensure campaign launches
• Adhere to all production and operational deadlines while keeping projects on schedule
• Inform clients about any New Times promotional opportunities
• Update/Manage database records
• Maintain Files

This person will be able to understand and balance the responsibilities as directed by management.  This is an extremely fast-paced environment with daily deadlines.  The successful candidate will need to learn the role quickly and will be able to thrive under pressure.

Requirements:

• Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient & detail oriented
• Proficiency in Excel & Powerpoint is a requirement
• Creativity is a plus
• Strong Communication skills
• Strong Organizational Skills
• High energy level
• Comfortable multi-tasking projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities
• Must have clean driving record and must pass background check.
