Position Description:

Front-end web application testing and automation (Manual and automation mix)

Responsibilities:

• Analyze user stories and manual tests in order to create automated software tests
• Create automated software test suites for sprint based releases on multiple and simultaneous projects
• Create and maintain data sets for tests
• Documenting and execute test cases
• Communicate progress of automated test development
• Analyze, interpret and summarize test results and metrics and communicate to appropriate teams.
• Work with a strong collaborative Scrum team
• Train, mentor and influence other staff on software automation
• Foster and maintain good relationships with Product Engineering clients to ensure processes are integrated to support expected quality
• Ability to assess the effectiveness of processes and procedures and recommend improvements

​Required Experience:

• 2+ years automating tests for a multi-tier, web-based applications
• Experience developing test automation frameworks
• Manual and automation mix (50/50)
• Experience in a Java environment
• Experience creating automation tests within Selenium Webdriver
• Experience creating automated test solutions Windows and Linux operating systems.
• API or Service Testing experience
• Experience providing estimates on requirements and solution information
• Knowledge and experience with software engineering best practices
• B.S. degree in computer science or a related field; or equivalent work experience and/or education in lieu of a degree

Preferred Experience:

• JavaScript, protractor experience
• Experience with Selenium Webdriver (not IDE) is a plus
• 3+ yrs of coding experience in Java, Python, C#, Ruby and/or Perl (Java, Python preferred)
• Ability to design and execute performance/load/stress tests with both web and windows client applications is a plus
