Position Description:

Tableau Developer/Administrator to work closely with engineering and business teams. Will be the go to person for best practices for workbooks and extractions

Responsibilities:

• Ability to work with other team members in developing new visuals based upon feedback from clients and subject matter experts
• Requires Tableau Installation, upgrades, server tuning, troubleshooting system issues
• Advanced knowledge and experience of Tableau Server, Desktop and Mobile App
• Capable of doing Tableau Server Management (like Clustering, Load Balancing, User Management etc)
• Performance tuning of workbooks, data sources, and providing best practices for user community
• Familiar with automating server with Tableau’s Command Line Tools
• Experience communicating complex topics clearly and effectively to a non-analytical audience
• Knowledge and experience of infrastructure servers and OS (windows, VM)
• Self-starter who can take own initiative in completing tasks assigned
• Ability to handle a multitude of tasks and issues in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

• 2+ years experience in using the Tableau Software Business Intelligence suite (including desktop and server deployment)
• 3+ years experience using BI/ Data Visualization Tools (Cube/OLAP style reporting).
• Strong SQL skills (Oracle)
• Advanced understanding of relational database design
• Familiar with the command line tool
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to function well in rapid changing environment
