Position Description:


In partnership with the Program Manager, the Change Management Manager leads the function within the program in order to transform employee skills, drive adoption, ensure higher utilization of delivered information products and develop more effective and efficient business processes and use of information among employees impacted by projects to ensure the achievement of results and outcomes. Provide overall change management services to support initiatives and to ensure the success of the efforts including information product replacements, process redesign, potential reorganizations, and to improve managers/supervisors readiness and ability to lead their work groups through change. Help design and implement processes to enable culture change, employee engagement, leadership alignment, stakeholder management, communications, training, and change measurement. This is a non-technical role.

Responsibilities:


  • Consult with project/program managers and individual contributors to assess change impacts of process, technology, organization structure, and policy shifts.
  • Create change management plans to address and mitigate assessed impacts of changes and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Utilize best-practice methodologies to ensure the proper assessment, analysis, and development of change interventions associated with project and program outcomes.
  • Provide coaching and action learning to managers, supervisors and affected employees across the organization, and coach executive sponsors and managers on their roles in leading change.
  • Perform risk management to ensure change management, training and communications risks are identified, tracked and minimized/mitigated.
  • Ensure change, training and communications strategies and activities are coordinated and integrated and support the overall goals at a program and project level.
  • Provide program-level governance ensuring adherence to standards, methodologies, policies and processes.
  • Serve as an organizational change thought leader to clients, and a mentor to more junior team members.
  • Partner with the Corporate Change Office to ensure alignment between the corporate change management methodology and standards and the program. Develop or enhance change management tools and methodology to build capability across the organization to lead change and improve personal resilience to change.
  • Help review associated vendor contracts or Statements of Work (SOW).
  • Forecast budget and update actuals, working in conjunction with budget lead

Qualifications


Required Experience:


  • 15+ years increasingly complex experience as an organization development / change practitioner, including lead role on two or more major organizational change programs/initiatives such as a technology implementation, process redesign, or restructuring.
  • Business Intelligence/Analytics experience required - iterative, scalable and sustainable change
  • PROSCI / ADKAR certification required
  • Comprehensive knowledge of organizational change, employee transition, organization design, and culture change theories, models, and techniques in medium to large organizations..
  • Self-starter able to work independently, as well as collaborate on teams.
  • Solid project management skills; able to coordinate resources, establish schedules, track deliverables, and drive for results.
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent presentation, group process/facilitation skills.Strong written and verbal skills, communication development, documentation development and change management strategy experience.
  • Strong communication experience and able to speak with all levels of management and employees (around 500 employees at first gathering analysis) .
  • BS/BA in Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, or a related field such as Management and Industrial Relations, with emphasis on organizational behavior, human resources and consulting, or similar.


Preferred Experience: 


  • Experience as an external consultant with a Big 6 or boutique consulting firm on major engagements.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of training program design, adult learning theory, and state-of-the-art training techniques.
  • Executive Coaching experience, including ICF certification. Certifications in assessments such as MBTI, Hogan, iOPT or similar.
