Job Description

Length of Engagement: 12 month Contract

Must be a US Citizen or have a green card, no third party submittals

50% travel between Bingen and Vancouver, mileage reimbursed


Position Description:


  • Perform background research, clarify customer's requirements, analyze systems and procedures then refine their formulation and convert them to developable formats.
  • Review business requirements and deliverables and provides feedback. Verify approved business requirements are comprehensive and meet business objectives and expectations.
  • Document, implement, monitor and enforce all standards, guidelines, methodologies and processes.
  • Troubleshoot and provides technical support and solutions to users.
  • Writes test plans, configure and query applications and test to system requirements.
  • Monitor system effectiveness in satisfying user needs.
  • Manage projects and ensures project execution occurs on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication skills, writing skills, and collaboration skills specifically in the context of implementing and supporting information systems.
  • Responsible for marketing and public relations regarding the MIS 'brand'.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a highly diverse information systems team to accomplish project work and improve processes and procedures both within the team and in service to the customer

Qualifications

​Required Experience:


  • 6+ years of business systems analysis experience
  • Business intelligence (BI) experience
  • Knowledge of business intelligence (BI) practices and principles; specifically data warehousing, fundamentals of metrics and measures, and knowledge of the requirements surrounding developing a data warehouse/data governance initiative.
  • Experience implementing, improving upon, and supporting a full scope ERP.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture disciplines and practices, experience with TOGAF, BPMN, SysML a plus.
  • Understanding of product lifecycle management within an engineering/production manufacturing context
  • Knowledge of business intelligence practices and principles; specifically data warehousing, fundamentals of metrics and measures, and knowledge of the requirements surrounding developing a data warehouse/data governance initiative.



Preferred Experience: 


  • Knowledge and experience in a government contracting context a plus.
  • Knowledge of SQL a plus.
