Position Description:

Work within a team to create and manage high performance imaging technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and test software to classify defects in lumber.
• Interact with customers to capture requirements for defect classification.
• Enthusiasm for learning image analysis and machine learning technologies.
• Maintaining code models in Python or C++ code for defect detection and computational geometry.
• Work with Senior Software Engineers to integrate code into production modules.

​Required Experience:

• BS in Computer Science and 3+ years of industry experience.
• Experience in software development using OO design and test driven development.
• Must be proficient in C, C++ or C#, with Python experience considered a plus.
• Good mathematical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with image processing algorithms and/or machine learning algorithms is a plus.
• Must be fluent in English.
