* Measure the power consumption of a laptop or phone

* Write scripts to run a large batch of benchmarks

* Use excel to compare and analyze results

* Disassemble phones or tablets, hardware and/or software

* Have you rooted an Android phone or tablet?

  * Have you installed a custom ROM?

* Have you jail-broken an Apple phone or tablet?

* Have you built a custom desktop computer before?

* Have you installed Linux on a computer?

  * Have you compiled or developed software for Linux?

  * Have you compiled a kernel compile modules before?

* Have you worked with an embedded Linux product?

  * Were you able to access the shell prompt?

* Do you know how to use a variable power supply and/or multimeter?

* Do you sometimes void warranties on consumer electronics?
