Job Description

Job Purpose

In general, responsible to support his immediate supervisor in business activities of the company with an eye on its overall development & growth of business covering the following Principal activities:

Principal Accountabilities

  • Management / Administration: He will be responsible to oversee all wings of his BU in his region’s function smoothly as per the company policy & procedures.
  • Make sure that all departments have smooth interaction with each other. Take appropriate decisions in the interest of company to achieve company objectives
  • Customer visits: Make regular customer visits with Sales teams for relationship building & to have first hand market information/ client feedback & competitors activities. Use such information in aligning product with clients’ actual market needs to maximize sales returns.
  • Marketing & Sales: Plan/ design as per the sales target and company policy with the help of his supervisor - the product marketing activities & ensure that these are implemented and monitored to ensure fulfillment of Sales targets and business objectives on monthly basis.
  • Accounts & Finance: Responsible in helping his immediate supervisor to prepare annual budget in coordination with finance department.
  • Implement controls over spending & procurement to ensure adherence to the approved budget.
  • Customers credit limit, outstanding & Aging control: Periodically review credit limits of customers & monitor their over dues in coordination with accounts & sales team. Take necessary steps to ensure payments are received within the approved agreed time & credit limit.
  • Sales & Net Contribution Performance: Accountable for ensuring the achievement of budgeted sales, gross margin & net contribution of the company with sales team for his BU.
  • Interaction with Principals:  Manage products procurement through Global Partners & ensure Cost effective purchases.
  • Ensure & maintain healthy relationship with Principals.
  • Ensure all our products are procured & priced competitively in the market.
  • Maintain good coordination on matters & issues such as delivery, availability, new product introductions, pricing negotiation, payments & warranty etc in line with company policy.
  • Logistics & Warehousing: Coordinate with Logistic & Finance department to ensure shipments are released smoothly from customs.
  • Maintain adequate stocks in the warehouse.
  • Check & control proper inventory log of all the receipts & deliveries of material in ERP system on regular basis as per company policy with warehousing team.
  • Ensure best warehousing practice is implemented in warehouse
  • Manpower, Appraisals & Training: Study the manpower requirement & plan with his immediate supervisor for new requirement. Also responsible for appraising existing manpower’s performance individually and provide necessary support and motivation for performance achievement and staff growth.
  • Recommend necessary staff training to group HR based on their job requirements as per company policy.

Communications and Working Relationships

  • Promoting a professional image of the company to clients and the market in general.
  • Good human relationships, negotiation and presentation skill.
  • Ready to travel as when the job demands

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualification required is graduate in any discipline preferably B.Sc. in telecommunication Engineering/ Science graduate or MBA Marketing
  • 5-10 years experience in a Business Development senior role; preferably within a commercial GSM/ wireless cable industry in Saudi Arabia/ GCC
  • Exposure to operators directly and their main contractors
  • Actively maintain industry and market competitor knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to enjoy work in a team-oriented environment with positive attitude
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English. Communication in Arabic will be definite advantage.
  • Computer literacy is a must
  • Valid Saudi Driving is a must
