1.Job Purpose

The Main purpose of the Project Engineer job is to ensure the timely delivery of RSCC’s construction/contracting projects, up to the required quality standards and within budget.

2.Principal Accountabilities

• Overall authority and responsibility for all aspects of the projects and do coordination between all projects in terms of manpower, materials, and equipment. Evaluation each project on weekly basis.
• Overall management of the project activities and control of the related personnel.
• Planning, scheduling & preparing materials submittal schedule for approvals, materials procurement schedule, and projects cost control.
• Ensuring executing the projects within the budget & project duration.
• Submittal of progress reports to the client & company’s management.
• Submittal of progress billing & follow up on collection.
• Coordination and supervision of activities of the sub-contractors & assurance of compliance to client’s requirements.
• Implementation of approved construction schedules, implementing revisions, and take all necessary actions for the recovery schedule.
• Maintenance and coordination of contacts with the local authorities for all matters related to the work execution.
• Monitor & improve production & efficiency of work force.
• Optimize utilization of company fixed assets & equipment.
• Continuous monitoring of material ordering, planning, stocking, housekeeping, safety regulation, quality execution reporting, timely billing, change orders, as built, submittals, etc., to ensure smooth & profitable operations.
• Providing weekly report and updating, for developing & upgrading existing running and new: projects, clients, website, training, materials, resources, equipment, JV`s, and business to add value to the company. Including monitoring and executions.
• Extensive travelling for follow up and updates.

3.Communications and Working Relationships

 Reports to Project Manager on project Progress and any high level issues
• Reports to clients and consultants to project progress and address their concerns.
• Establishes strong working relationship with clients, subcontractors, and consultants.
• Interacts with Managers and Unit Heads in Head Office to resolve on site issues.
• Interacts, when needed with visitors on site.
• Interacts with the entire project organization on a daily basis.

4.Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Civil Engineering.
• 6 years’ experience as a Project Engineer with solid field experience.
• Experience in projects Development, all field activities, projects scheduling& planning submittals, billing, safety, QC, reporting.
• Solid experience in reinforced concrete construction, concrete repair, steel buildings, waterproofing, and all finishing trades (Painting, finish carpentry, suspended ceilings, tile and marble installation etc.
• Have the experience and the capability of Business Development and Marketing. Strong in relations and resources to bring in profitable projects.
• Good command of English and computers, scheduling and contracts negotiation and administration.
