Are you GIS Solutions Architect? Ready for a challenge.  Join our team!  We need someone with a strong background in Esri GIS who can drive a proposed solution through design, build and test phases. There will also most likely be a data conversion component of this project that will require conversion requirements and data acceptance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the installation of solutions from design through test
• Monitor SDLC process to detect potential problems
• Implement process to support communication between all departments
• Provide technical direction and guidance to team members
• Provide quality assurance review of new and existing software products

Qualifications: (Must Have)

• Previous experience in SDLC, , architecture, or other related fields
• Strong background in ArcGIS
• Manage solution requirements
• Create functional design
• Lead technical design
• Lead test phase (unit, integration & UAT)
• Conversion requirements and data acceptance
• Establish cut-over plan
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Deadline and detail-oriented

Nice to have skills would be:

• CIS experience
• ArcGIS developing including system integration

This is a contract role.

The expected duration for this phase is about 6 months. There are numerous projects and opportunities in the coming months.

We are looking for a strong contributor and rate is commensurate with an architect level contributor.
