CDL Drivers are responsible for loading, unloading and delivering newspapers and other products in our trucks to retailers & newspaper vending machines.   May deliver to city and/or out-state distribution centers.  New drivers cover 3rd shift vacancies on Friday and Saturday nights, and may be eligible for other weekday shifts based on business needs.  Uniforms provided.

Non-CDL Drivers meeting minimum requirements will drive company trucks, delivering newspapers and other products to retailers & newspaper vending machines.  New drivers cover 3rd shift vacancies on Friday and Saturday nights, and may be eligible for other weekday shifts based on business needs.  Uniforms provided. Paid training.  Benefits eligibility is based on hours worked. 

CDL QUALIFICATIONS

• Applicants must be 21 years or older with an excellent driving record & related driving experience.
• This position requires a CDL Class A or B with air brake endorsement.
• Drivers must comply with DOT hours of service. 
• Must have knowledge of the Twin Cities and surrounding area. 
• Selection process will include a road test and area knowledge. 
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds.

NON-CDL QUALIFICATIONS

• Applicants must be 21 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Drivers must comply with DOT hours of service.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of the Minneapolis metro area.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
• Prior driving, courier delivery or newspaper carrier experience preferred.

Must successfully complete employment verifications, background checks and pre-placement exam which includes a drug test.
