Job Description

Directs the sales efforts of Employment sales team members in order to meet established revenue and account goals.  Creates, develops, coordinates, implements and leads revenue opportunities to increase advertising sales in all Star Tribune products.  Responsible for building relationships with key advertising and association decision-makers.  Ensures the goals and objectives are accomplished within time frames and within budget.  Ensures the team is consistently meeting and exceeding sales and service objectives.  Strong focus on coaching in the field and direct customer contact.

Qualifications

Requires:   3-4 years of sales or management experience.  Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience in business, sales, communications, or a related field.  Demonstrated skills in supervising, directing and motivating a sales force while managing revenue performance across key strategic products in a heavily deadline driven work environment.  Strong sales, planning and business management skills.  Negotiation and problem-solving skills a must.  Prefer advertising sales experience and digital experience.
