Job Description

Responsible for leading the day-to-day warehouse/material handling functions for newsprint handling and procurement.  This will include purchasing and tracking of all newsprint inventories utilizing the Egemin procurement system; completing required inventory, usage and status reports; scheduling of newsprint employees; providing work direction and training to employees as needed; and performing newsprint handling duties.

Qualifications

•    Material handling/warehousing experience, preferably in a large volume manufacturing environment dealing with the procurement and movement of raw materials utilized in the production process.
•    Demonstrated experience in providing work direction in a material handling/warehousing environment.
•    Demonstrated experience and knowledge with automated inventory and procurement systems.  Includes the ability to generate inventory and related reports.
•    Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
•    Good oral and written communication skills.
•    Requires the physical ability to drive forklifts and clamp trucks.
•    Requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
•    Demonstrated experience working in a deadline and high volume-driven environment requiring problem solving and multi-tasking skills.

Will work Tuesday – Saturday days.   Hours 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (flexible).
