Job Description

The primary responsibilities of the Front Desk Receptionist are to receive the public and the guests of the Students' Society executives and employees, respond to general inquiries about the organization and McGill at large, and to act as a positive representation of the Students' Society. Responsibilities include various administrative tasks that are front desk and office related.

Qualifications

1. A High School diploma is required. A College diploma is desirable and an asset.

2. Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, Power Point.

3. Knowledge of the McGill University campus, environment, community.

4. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

5. Bilingualism is essential to the role: verbal and written.

Additional Information

  • Hours: 40 hours per week: daily schedule from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM;
  • Status: Casual contract until May 31st, 2015;
  • $13.75 per hour;
