Job Description

The Preparation Cook position is responsible for preparing input ingredients for menu items as well as preparing food for the following day’s service on a daily basis. This position would also be responsible for "à la minute" preparation of dishes upon order in the front of house. Additionally, the Preparation Cook will be responsible for keeping track of kitchen inventory and washing dishes on a regular basis.

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of cooking equipment;
  • A minimum of 6 months of cooking experience;
  • Must be passionate about food;
  • Ability to work in a team;
  • Autonomy;
  • Customer service experience is an asset.

Additional Information

  • Paid position: $12.93 per hour
  • Hours: On average 10-15 hours per week
  • Contract: August 1st, 2015 until April 30th, 2016
