Job Description

Volunteer Role:

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Committee will be responsible for reporting to the Board of Directors on all matters pertaining to the human resources of the Society in a manner consistent with the Society's governance documents. It shall meet as deemed necessary by the Office of the Vice-President (Finance). The Committee shall:

  • Review and make recommendations to the Board of Directors on all matters pertaining to the human resources of the Society, through the Office of the Vice-President (Finance);
  • Oversee the implementation and annual review of the Human Resources Policy; and
  • Implement structural and procedural changes which endeavor to improve the Society's human resources, namely in terms of recruitment, training, employee management, conflict resolution and pay.

Qualifications

  • Must be a Member of the Society.

Additional Information

  • Volunteer position;
  • Time Commitment: Average of 1-2 hours per week.
