Located on McGill campus in downtown Montreal, the Students’ Society of McGill University (SSMU) is currently seeking applicants for the Accounting Technician job opening. With over 20,000 members, SSMU’s role is to represent students and to offer services since 1908.

Volunteer Role:

Reporting to the Legislative Council, the Committee will be responsible for the review and approval of Interim Club Status applications, Full Club Status applications, and Club Status applications, and Club constitutional amendments in accordance with the Internal Regulations of Student Group. The Club Committee shall:

• Review and make recommendations for the approval of Interim Club Status and Full Club Status applications in a manner consistent with the Internal Regulations of Student Groups;
  

• Review and make recommendations for the approval of proposed changes to Club Constitutions;
  
• Make recommendations to the Vice-President (Student Life) on Policies related to Clubs; and
  
• Report all decisions for ratification to the next meeting of the Legislative Council.

• Must be a Member of the Society.

• Volunteer position;
  

• Time Commitment: Average of 2 hours per week.
