Dotted reports: Site Production Manager

The objective of the role, as a member of the senior leadership team, reporting to and partnering with the Regional CFO and local Managing Director is to drive financial results of the unit and set local financial policy and direction. 

You will also be an active participant in, and driver of, the organization’s overall strategy.  You will lead all financial administration, business planning, and budgeting and business governance to the compliance of legal, group, accounting and other relevant standards.  

In addition, the position also provides local lead for human resources (HR), information technology (IT) and purchasing, working closely with regional/national functional manager as to implement global/regional initiatives, drive local policies/ initiatives, monitor compliances to required legal and group standards. 

As Site MD, you will also responsible for managing the local relationship with the JV partner and overseeing the Production department to make sure the factory continues to meet all the production KPI’s.  The MD role also requires to represent the Group in front of the various government authorities and agencies.  

Education

• A minimum of a Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance
• Professional certification is a plus
  

Experience

• At least 10 years in a similar management position
• Mature and pro active, with evidence of having worked as a true Business Partner to the Chief executive of a multi-state and network based entity
• Demonstrated excellence in managing finance, accounting, budgeting, control and reporting
• Skills in examining, developing, reengineering and recommending financial, HR and technology policies and procedures
• Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model. 
• A hands-on manager with integrity and a desire to work in a dynamic, mission-driven environment
• An effective communicator, with strong oral and written skills
• Strong commitment to developing team members

Knowledge or specific business understanding

• Exposure in commodity based business as well as multi currency business
• Experience with multinational company with manufacturing environment or food industry
• Sound business sense with Indonesian/local environment
