Our client is a renowned Global supplier of systems and services to the aerospace and defense industries. They design, manufacture and service systems and components and provide integrated solutions for commercial, regional, business and military aircraft, helicopters and other platforms.

 

For this client, Timeo-Performance is now looking for a Quality Manager to be based in Bandung, Indonesia.

 

Job Description

Report to: General Manager

Job purpose:

To manage whole quality department activities to promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization to meet company strategic goal in quality and to ensure compliance to applicable requirements / standards.

Main accountabilities:

  • To formulate and manage quality strategy / objectives throughout organization also flow down customer quality strategy to meet company quality strategic goal
  • To lead management team, acting as Management Representative to achieve quality policy and quality system program throughout the organization to ensure compliance to all requirements
  • To lead and overview quality control activities to ensure product delivered to customer meets requirements/standard
  • To lead and overview special process quality activities, acting as Nadcap audit focal point  to ensure all special process meets all applicable  requirements/standard including Nadcap
  • To lead and overview all audits activities and validate supplier qualification to ensure compliance to applicable requirements/standard
  • To overview, validate and  be responsible  for all quality documentation (manual, procedures) and traceability of records to ensure correct documentation flow down and records retention
  • Promote quality awareness into all personnel training program
  • Develop, monitor and appraise performance and potential capability of subordinates to contribute to the development of quality professional team in the department
  • To drive improvement through organization with all management team to trigger continuous improvement process

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering / Technical
  • More than 5 year experience in Quality
  • 1 year as quality team leader in Aerospace
  • Fluent in English
  • MS Office literate
  • Qualified/Skilled in quality tools (RCA, SPC, 6 sigma, etc)
  • Qualified/Skilled with ISO/TS 16949/AS9100
  • Familiar with Nadcap
  • Familiar with internal auditing
  • Certified Internal Auditor
