Our client is a West African Company supplying and distributing petroleum products and providing oil services. 

For this client, Timeo-Performance is looking for Marine/HSSE Superintendent based in Singapore and willing to travel (Nigeria being one of the destination). 

Reports to: Head, Marine Services

• Assist the Head, Marine Services with the day to day operation of the OSV fleet.
• Attend vessels to conduct marine inspections, pre-vetting inspections and vetting assistance.
• Attend vessels to conduct shipboard ISM / ISPS training and auditing.
• Assist in the preparation of ISM / ISPS documentation for new assets entering management.
• Assist in the preparation, implementation and maintenance of vessel's contingency plans.
• Assist in the periodical review of the HSSEQ Management System.
• Liaise with the vessels in operational, navigation and HSSEQ matters.
• Liaise with the Technical Department on marine matters.
• Track and close out non-conformities.
• Assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents, formulate reports and provide corrective actions as appropriate.
• Liaise with Flag State Authorities and Classification Societies.
• Participate in recruitment interviews and briefing of senior deck officers and verify the work of Masters and deck officers.
• Act as Deputy for the Head of Marine when he is unavailable.

• COC Class 1, Master Mariner or Chief Officer
• Maritime practice knowledge is essential, particularly in offshore supply, anchor handling and towing.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Conversant in statutory rules and regulations governing the OSV industry.
• Strong oral and written communications skills
• Good experience in report writing.
• Good experience with MS Office.
• Seagoing experience on OSV's required.
• Experienced in OSV vessel management.
• Certified ISM Auditor;
• Certified ISPS Auditor;
• Experienced with ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001 requirements
