Our client a well-established player which designs and distributes fashion accessories, is looking for a Senior Forecast Analyst, based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Reports to the Head of Demand Analysis ("functionnally") and international Sales Manager ("horizontally")

1. Forecast for new products

• Forecast the quantities to be purchased for the new styles of the assortments of existing overseas’ branches and the future overseas’ branches on a basis of 9 catalogues (assortments) per year and 400 new styles per catalogue.
• Coordinate with Export Merchandizing to get overseas branches’ approval on the quantities to be purchased.
• Ensure that the quantities to be purchased are submitted to the Purchasing department based on the timeframe deadline.
• Coordinate with overseas’ branches to elaborate purchasing budget.
• Ensure that quantities to be purchased are in line with the purchasing budget.
• Ensure that the level of dead style value (value of items going out of the assortment) does not exceed the target limits set by the management.
• Follow up perpetually the relevance of the quantities initially purchased and look for approval of the - Purchasing department for an increase or decrease of these quantities.

2. Replenishment

• Taking into account management’s guidelines about stock availability for overseas branches, review the seasonal coefficient for quantities to be replenished based on the proposal of the Purchasing department and coordinate with overseas branches for validation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Production Planning or equivalent work/education experience
• Around 5 years of professional experience in a similar role
• A previous experience in the fashion industry would be a plus
• Strong analytic and strategic thinking
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• MS Office (Excel, Work, PowerPoint & Outlook) proficiency
• Knowledge of programming would be appreciated
• Languages: English and Indonesian
