Job Description

Report to: Managing Director APAC

General Description

  • Lead and manage Internal Support, providing critical IT system support for the technical team and business for all APAC companies
  • Understanding and management of IT hardware; software; people and processes to provide high quality technical support to the business
  • Maintenance of software and infrastructure across multiple technologies and platforms
  • Ensure communication on support and development activities between the different APAC countries and Global IT organization (in Europe)
  • Off site and onsite support to APAC companies to solve application topics, assist in change of business processes or implementing new IT applications & functionalities

Tasks

  • Providing Microsoft desktop and server support
  • Solving IT System issues
  • Training on and supporting the various IT systems/applications used
  • Implementing new IT applications & functionalities as decided in the steering committee
  • Analyzing and advising new IT applications
  • Training and Support for ERP, CRM and other business applications
  • Basic Firewall setup and management
  • VPN setup and management
  • Software license management
  • Setting up and managing virtual servers
  • Identifying and implementing solutions to future business requirements
  • Direct contact with the Global IT staff to ensure operations of the local applications (cf. Online Services, Octopus, SAP links, Hyperion) and interfaces are fully supported
  • Participation in the Company group activities related to definition, implementation and support of applications in the CRM and ERP areas at group level
  • The job will require some travelling in the APAC region (10-20%) and sometimes in Europe (1 or 2 times a year)

 

Qualifications

Skills:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or related field with a minimum of 5-7 years professional experience in technology support operations, including experience troubleshooting and supporting database technology computer applications, CRM and ERP
  • Experience in troubleshooting both hardware and Microsoft operating systems
  • Demonstrated in depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong knowledge of ERP/CRM solutions (Netsuite is a plus) , a previous experience in implementing CRM/ERP applications is strongly appreciated
  • Knowledge of database structures
  • Business Intelligence (BI) reporting
  • Programming experience is a plus
