Our client is the Global Leader in the Design and Manufacture of Flexible Etched Circuitry (FEC).

For this client, Timeo-Performance is recruiting a Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Plating).

Location: Changi, Singapore  

Reporting to: Manager APU (Autonomous Production Unit) – Wet Process

• Implement continuous improvement projects to fully optimize the manufacturing process of products in terms of costs, quality and safety, improving flow, rate of availability and reliability of equipments
• Responsible for resolving quality issues in compliance with the standards: establishes specifications, selects suppliers, calculates return on investment
• Participate in the monitoring of productivity improvement plans based on the Kaizen Board.
• Deploys Lean Manufacturing tools (Kaizen Board, Production Film) to raise awareness among Production Unit
• Lead improvement projects such as 5S, productivity, etc and problem solving projects (SMED, QRQC, 8D, A3, TPM)
• Participate in technological awareness in their area in order to anticipate technological changes and recommend/ propose actions for improvement of existing processes
• Monitor stability of production process via follow up and daily analysis of production data so as to determine effectiveness of corrective actions 

• Degree in Chemical / Material Science or equivalent, Electro-chemical or Mechanical related discipline
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical or Chemical technology in a Semiconductors or Manufacturing industry with extensive experience in leading improvement projects, demonstrated leadership as a change agent in driving improvement initiatives, & implement effective corrective/preventive actions would be an advantage
• Minimum 5 years of professional working experience in manufacturing industry
• Action-oriented and possess strong problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing tools (Kaizen board, red bin, SMED, QRQC TPM, 8D)
• Ability to train and transmit the knowledge, interpersonal & communication skills, influencing-skills to work with suppliers/customers as well as internal teams
• Solid experience in handling plating operations is highly advantageous
