Our client , one of the European leaders in the Airline Industry, is looking for an Accounts Manager to be based in Jakarta for its Controlling and Accounting Division.

Reporting to the Regional Financial Controller based in Singapore (functionnaly) and to the Country Manager in Indonesia.

Main objectives of the role:

• Be responsible for the correctness and completeness of the balance sheet and P&L in accordance with the Company internal procedures and external rules.
• Execute the controlling and business support activities for Indonesia

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Transactional Accounting IATA/BSP
• Organisational support
• Management control: controlling (AR, AP, taxation), budgeting, forecasting and provisions
• Business Information control (controlling)
• HR support (contracts, house rules regulation, ...)
• General affairs: contracts/agreements and external meetings GVT agents

Contexte & environnement:

• Continuously interface with the Senior Accounts Officer, the Accounts officer and the regional Financial Controller
• Work with colleagues in Europe. In addition close cooperation and daily checks are required with regional accounts officers (cross billing). 

Management: 2 direct reports (Accountants)

• College Degree in Controlling & Accounting
• 5 to 7 years of working experience in the accounting field (SAP knowledge would be a plus)
• A previous experience working for the airline/aviation industry is compulsory
• Knowledge of communication tools (MS Office in particular)
• Excellent interpersonal skills: communication skills & persuasiveness, teamwork spirit, drive, initiative and decisiveness skills
• Very strong analytical, planning and organizing skills
• Quality focus & business orientation
