Our client is a European leader specialized in the development & production of high value added components for secured contactless Smart Cards market.

To support their growth in Asia, they are now looking for their Regional Sales Manager-Greater China

Reports to: VP Sales Asia (based in Singapore)

Job Description

Sales & Business Development:

  •  Develop regional sales strategy and associated sales action plan appropriate to the region in alignment with the overall company sales strategy.
  • Participate to local exhibitions and conferences to promote offerings
  • Develop prescription plan across the overall business value chain within the region
  • Elaborate proposals to tenders
  • Deliver price offers to the local customers and prospects
  • Negotiate contract with customers and prospects
  • Negotiate partner agreement on project basis or with sales agent
  • Support Customer Service in Purchase Order and delivery process with local customers.
  • Define and manage distribution channels, sales representative, and agents
  • Set the product technical requirements of the customers

 

Marketing:

 In interaction with the head of marketing:

 Provide regional market feedback, players, market trends

  • Identify new customer product and service needs.
  • Contribute to competitors analysis
  • Contribute to products roadmap

Reporting:

  • Provide activity reports and forecasts to the Asia Sales VP
  • Participate actively to the budget process

Qualifications

Experience:

  • At least 10 years’ experience in the Smart card,  Semi-conductor industry,  or another industry related
