Company Description

Our client is a European provider of high value added components for the contactless Smart Cards market.

To support their growth in Asia, they are now looking for their Regional Sales Director SEA who will report to the Asia Sales VP, based in Singapore.

Job Description

Sales&Business Development:

  • Develop regional sales strategy and associated sales action plan appropriate to the region in alignment with the overall company sales strategy.
  • Participate to local exhibitions and conferences to promote the Company offering
  • Develop prescription plan across the overall business value chain within the region
  • Elaborate proposals to tenders
  • Deliver price offers to the local customers and prospects
  • Negotiate contract with customers and prospects
  • Negotiate partner agreement on project basis or with sales agent
  • Support Customer Service in Purchase Order and delivery process with local customers.
  • Define and manage distribution channels, sales representative, and agents
  • Set the product technical requirements of the customers

Marketing:

In interaction with the head of marketing:

  • Provide regional market feedback, players, market trends
  • Identify new customer product and service needs.
  • Contribute to competitors analysis
  • Contribute to products roadmap

Reporting:

  • Provide  activity reports and forecasts to the Asia Sales VP
  • Participate actively to the budget process

Qualifications

Experience:

  • At least 10 years’ experience in the Smart card,  Semi-conductor industry,  or another industry related
